2017 RACE DAY RECAP

8-HOUR DREAM ENDURANCE RACE RUNNERS ESCAPE RAIN, BRING HEAT
Runners from 13 States and Haiti Participate

INDIANAPOLIS (July 22, 2017)…After a week of “will it or won’t it rain?” weather forecasts, the 3nd Annual 8-Hour Dream Endurance Race followed the pattern of the first two years: challenging conditions due to the extreme heat and humidity. It did not rain. As the Indianapolis area’s only Endurance Race, our course at Butler University provided some shade as runners took on the heat to see how many miles they could cover during the 8 hours. The event is produced by Carmel Road Racing Group. Thank you to all our sponsors as well as Butler University and Butler Athletics.

The 8-Hour Dream Endurance Race was awarded the Road Runners Club of America Endurance Race State Championship, awarding winners state championship titles along with a cash purse.

We hope everyone had a great day!
